Genoa Nevada has five great spots to grab a meal, a sandwich, and a cup of coffee, something sweet or a cocktail!

La Ferme is a full bar and restaurant open Tuesday thru Sunday in Genoa. It offers a fine French menu that is famous throughout the Carson Valley, Reno and Tahoe. The food is very delicious and there are different specials all of the time. The ambiance is cozy as well with a fireplace blazing in the winter and lots of great company year round.

The Genoa Country Store is a local’s favorite. Recently under new ownership the Country Store offers a variety of options including sandwiches, hot dogs, salads, soups, daily specials, breakfast burritos/sandwiches and ice cream. In the summer there are also frequent bbq lunches to choose from. On Friday nights there is wine tasting and open mic night and on Wednesdays it’s Family Dinner night that features a full dinner at a reasonable price. Last but not least is the famous Genoa Bar- Nevada’s oldest thirst parlor. Most people that come through Genoa visit the Genoa Bar. It has great history behind it and is mainly all original inside and out! Many movie stars have frequented the bar and some scenes in the movie Misery were even filmed there. Even if you do not feel like a cocktail at least stop by for some water or a soda- it is worth it!
